Context

The Vanguard Group is one of the world’s largest asset managers, with strict regulatory and compliance requirements across SOX, internal audit, and access governance. The IAM program is mission-critical — it touches every employee, contractor, and service account inside the firm.

I served as the Application Engineering Technical Lead on the IAM program — primary technical interface between engineering, security, and business stakeholders. Scoped, estimated, and led the flagship Okta–SailPoint IIQ integration program from roadmap definition through implementation and executive-sponsor reporting.

Selected work

• Delivered enterprise IAM modernization covering 30K+ users and 50K+ accounts, measurably reducing access risk and audit findings.
• Scoped, estimated, and led the Okta–SailPoint IIQ integration program — from roadmap through implementation and executive-sponsor reporting.
• Built APIs and integrations with ServiceNow CMDB and Active Directory to improve identity governance and access management.
• Improved SDLC, QA automation, and release processes — raising delivery reliability and speed across the program.
• Drove cross-team alignment around JML automation, certifications, and access governance — serving as the primary technical interface between engineering, security, business, and executive stakeholders.
